Important things to know before going to see Adele in Munich 2024

I just saw Adele in Munich last Friday, and I wanted to share some important tips to help you have the best experience at her show.

Wear closed and comfy shoes

What I didn’t know is that most of the ground around the venue and in Adele’s World is gravel, so I’m glad I didn’t decide to wear sandals or high heels (since we had seats, its possible I might have considered something more extravagant than sneakers 😅) However, walking around is uncomfortable and quite dusty, so choose your footwear accordingly.

Preload your tickets before

Almost immediately after entering the venue, we lost mobile internet reception. To avoid any issues, make sure to preload your tickets in the app or take a screenshot in case there’s no connection at the venue.

Take public transportation

We arrived by U2 to the station Messestadt Ost. Your concert ticket includes free public transportation, but you need to personalize and download the ticket from the MVV website. Instructions are provided in one of the Ticketmaster emails. Note that your mobile concert ticket won’t be recognized as a transportation ticket.

Have a some food/drinks before going to the venue

The queues for food, drinks, and even bathrooms are extremely long inside the venue. I highly recommend having a good meal before heading to the show to avoid the long waits. There are areas with shorter lines, but you’ll need extra time to explore and find them.

The main bathroom tent had an enormous queue, but we found shorter lines at bathrooms located on the sides of the venue, near zones 1-2. These are temporary restrooms, so they aren’t the most pleasant to use—some cabins were tiny, and a few were even flooding—so keep this in mind too.

Catch some confetti during the song “When We Were Young”

During this song, a lot of confetti is released, so be ready to collect some of it cause it has Adele’s photos on it, which is super cute!

Overall, get ready for an amazing and unforgettable night with Adele—she’s absolutely incredible!
