U2 have officially announced their return to Europe in 2027 with Carnaval de Luz Presents: The Greatest Show on Earth World Tour! The band will perform 12 shows across 7 European countries, with Wolf Alice joining as special guests.


And while the tour announcement is exciting, the ticket-buying process might seem a little overwhelming, with multiple presales (five, to be exact!), different registration requirements, and deadlines to keep track of.


So, I've put together this guide to help you navigate it all! From tour dates to all five presale options, registration links, and a clear ticket sale timeline, here's everything you need to know to prepare for U2's 2027 UK and European tour.

When is U2 playing in Europe in 2027?


U2 have announced 12 shows across seven European cities between April and July 2027, with Wolf Alice joining as special guests for all dates. Here are all the confirmed UK and European tour dates:

U2 2027 Europe Tour Presales Explained: Which One Can You Access?


Now, here's where things get a little complicated hahah.


There are five different presale options for U2's 2027 UK and European tour, each with its own eligibility requirements and access conditions. But don't worry, you don't need to participate in all of them!

Here's a quick overview to help you figure out which presales you can access:


All presales start at 10:00 a.m. local venue time.


The general ticket sale begins Friday, November 6, at 10:00 a.m. local venue time, with tickets available to everyone.

U2.com Subscriber Presale: Feedback Group & Hype Group


Presale dates


  • Feedback Group: Monday, November 2, at 10:00 a.m. local time

  • Hype Group: Tuesday, November 3, at 10:00 a.m. local time


Both presales close on Wednesday, November 4, at 10:00 p.m. local time.


Who can participate?


The U2.com Subscriber Presale is available exclusively to paid subscribers, who are divided into two groups:

  • Feedback Group: Longtime subscribers who had an active paid subscription on September 25, 2026, and have maintained it without interruption. They get first access on November 2. Their presale codes start with U2GSA.

  • Hype Group: Fans who subscribed for the first time or renewed an expired subscription after September 25, 2026. They get access on November 3. Their presale codes start with U2GSB.


Can you still subscribe and get presale access?


Yes! If you're not currently a paid U2.com subscriber, you can still purchase a subscription through U2.com and join the Hype Group, even after the presale has started. Just remember that a free U2.com account does NOT qualify for this presale.


Where can you find your unique presale code?


Your unique presale code will be:

  • Emailed to you at the address associated with your paid U2.com subscription before the presale begins.

  • Available on the U2.com tour page when you're logged in as a paid subscriber.

Each subscriber receives a unique code, so don't share yours with anyone else!


How does the presale work?


  1. Log in to your U2.com account to check which subscriber group you're in.

  2. Look out for your unique presale code, which will be emailed to you and available on the U2.com tour page.

  3. Follow the ticket purchase link for your chosen concert.

  4. Join the waiting room approximately 30 minutes before the presale starts.

  5. When the sale opens, enter your unique code to unlock the available tickets.


Important: If you're in the Feedback Group and buying through Ticketmaster, your Ticketmaster account email must exactly match the email address associated with your U2.com subscription.

If the email addresses don't match, make sure to update your Ticketmaster account email before the presale begins. Otherwise, you won't be able to join the queue.


Ticket limit: Up to 4 tickets per show.


U2 2027 Album Presale: How to Get Access


The Album Presale is available to fans who preorder U2's upcoming album through the official U2 store.

But here's the good news: You don't actually need to buy the album to participate! You can also register for the presale using the free registration form. Both options provide access to the same Album Presale.

Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. local venue time.

Registration deadline: Friday, October 30, at 1:00 p.m. CET.


How does the presale work?


  1. Preorder the album or complete the free registration form before October 30 at 1:00 p.m. CET.

  2. Look out for an email containing your unique presale link and access code.

  3. On November 4, follow your presale link to the ticketing website.

  4. Join the waiting room approximately 30 minutes before the sale begins.

  5. When the presale opens, enter your code to unlock the available tickets.


U2 2027 Visa Presale: How to Get Access


Visa is an official sponsor of U2's The Greatest Show on Earth World Tour, and eligible Visa cardholders will have access to a dedicated presale for the UK and European shows.

Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. local venue time.


How does the Visa Presale work?


  1. Visit Visa's official U2 presale page on November 4.

  2. Follow the presale link for your chosen concert.

  3. Join the waiting room approximately 30 minutes before the presale starts.

  4. When the sale opens, select your tickets and pay using an eligible Visa card.


No advance registration or presale code is mentioned in the announced requirements.


Ticket limit: Up to 4 tickets per show.


U2 2027 Artist Presale: How to Register


The U2 Artist Presale is free and open to anyone who signs up before the registration deadline.


Presale dates


Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. local venue time.

Registration deadline: Sunday, November 1, at 11:59 p.m. CET.


How to register for the U2 Artist Presale


Registration is handled through different ticketing platforms depending on the city:

Important: The Lisbon concert is NOT included in the Artist Presale.


How does the Artist Presale work?


  1. Follow the registration link for your chosen city.

  2. Sign up for the concert dates you're interested in before November 1 at 11:59 p.m. CET.

  3. Look out for your presale access details:

    • Ticketmaster: You'll receive an email with your presale link the day before the sale. No code is required, as access is linked to your registered account.

    • Live Nation: You'll receive a unique presale code by email starting Wednesday, November 4, at 5:00 p.m. CET.

  4. Join the waiting room approximately 30 minutes before the presale starts.

  5. When the presale opens, select your tickets, subject to availability.


Ticket limit: Up to 4 tickets per show.


U2 2027 General Sale: When Do Tickets Go on Sale?


The general sale for U2's 2027 UK and European tour begins on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local venue time.


Tickets will be available to everyone through the official ticketing platforms, with no presale registration or access code required.

How to Increase Your Chances of Getting U2 Tickets


With U2 returning to European stadiums in 2027, demand for tickets is expected to be high. But a little preparation can make the ticket-buying process much easier!


These are my tried-and-tested ticket-buying tips:

  • Check your presale eligibility and register before the deadlines. With so many presales happening, make sure you know which ones you can access!

  • Create or sign in to your ticketing account before the sale.

  • Save your payment details in advance where possible.

  • Decide on your preferred dates and ticket type before the sale starts.

  • Enter the waiting room early (it usually opens around 30 minutes before the sale).

  • If the waiting room button isn't visible yet, refresh only at this stage.

  • Use one device and one tab – multiple tabs or devices can cause problems with the queue.

  • Once you're in the queue, don't refresh.



U2 2027 Stage Layout: Which Tickets Should You Choose?


Based on the images released so far, U2's 2027 tour will feature a fairly classic stage setup with a catwalk extending into the crowd. There are several standing areas, including General Admission Floor, Inner Circle, and (RED) Zone.


Keep in mind that stage layouts may vary between venues, as you can see from the differences between London and Berlin below. Make sure to check the seating plan for your specific concert before choosing your tickets!

Which U2 tickets should you choose?


Your ideal ticket depends on your budget and the kind of concert experience you're looking for. Here are some of the available options, although ticket categories may vary between venues:

  • General Admission Floor: A good option if you want the freedom to move around, dance, and enjoy the atmosphere without paying extra for a premium standing area.

  • Inner Circle: Worth considering if being close to the band is your priority! The good news is that, based on the stage layouts, the Inner Circle extends along the main stage and catwalk, giving fans plenty of opportunities to get close to the action.

  • (RED) Zone: A premium ticket category that may offer a dedicated viewing area and additional benefits. Check what's included before deciding whether it's worth the extra cost.

  • Seated tickets: A great option if you prefer having a guaranteed spot without needing to queue for hours. Just pay attention to the stage position and any restricted-view warnings.


My tip: If you're planning to get a front-row spot in a standing section, remember that arriving early and understanding the venue's queueing rules can make a big difference.


Final Thoughts


With five different presales to navigate, getting U2 tickets for 2027 might seem a little complicated at first, but hopefully this guide has made things easier!


My biggest advice? Don't miss the registration deadlines! Decide which presales you're eligible for, get everything ready in advance, and give yourself the best possible chance of securing tickets.
