On the spooky Halloween night of October 31, 2025, Calum Scott played the biggest show of his career in Kaunas, performing in front of 9,000 people - and I was lucky to be one of them.

I first saw Calum opening for Ed Sheeran in 2024, and I was really impressed by his performance. So, when I found out he was coming back to my hometown for his own headlining show, I knew I couldn’t miss it.

Tickets to Calum Scott’s Avenoir Tour 2025 in Kaunas

Even though the arena was almost sold out by the day of the concert, we still managed to get our tickets a few months earlier. We chose seats in the Audi Club - basically a VIP area with a separate entrance and private zones for drinks and snacks.

The pit area was seated as well, so we decided on the first-level VIP section instead. The tickets cost €79 each, and honestly, it was worth it for the comfort and great view.

The Venue – Žalgiris Arena

Žalgiris Arena is the biggest indoor arena not only in Lithuania but also in all the Baltic states - and it just happens to be my hometown venue! I’ve been there countless times since it opened in 2011, for both concerts and my second favorite reason: basketball.

It’s a modern arena with good infrastructure and a central location. I can literally walk there in about 10 minutes, which is super convenient. For me, going to concerts there honestly feels like going to my second home.

Calum Scott’s Biggest Career Show

Calum rose to fame back in 2015 after his unforgettable Britain’s Got Talent audition, where he performed a life-changing cover of Robyn’s “Dancing On My Own.” Later came “You Are the Reason,” and that’s when I discovered him as a singer as well. I’ll be honest - I didn’t know all his songs, but seeing him open for Ed Sheeran last year brought him back to my musical radar. And now, one year later, I got to see him headline his biggest-ever concert with 9,000 people singing along.

The show opened with new tracks from his album Avenoir, starting with the melancholic “God Knows” and then the upbeat “Roots” (my personal favorite from the new album). He continued with fan favorites like “At Your Worst” and “What I Miss the Most.” The audience was completely mesmerized by his voice - lyrical, emotional, but full of energy.

Then came what Calum called the “Crying Corner” - an acoustic set full of emotional songs, ending with his duet/cover of Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance with Somebody.” (I guess he’s bored of dancing on his own - my peak humor.)

Later, the vibe changed completely with the dance section featuring “Where Are You Now” and “Whistle.” The entire arena was on its feet, dancing and clapping along - at Calum’s request, it turned into a proper dance party!

Emotional Finale

Towards the end, Calum got emotional and shared that this was his biggest headlining concert to date. I felt so proud of the Lithuanian crowd - everyone was loud, supportive, and genuinely moved him to tears. He thanked the audience countless times (even in Lithuanian!), clearly touched by how warmly he was received. To be honest, I didn’t expect that he was so big in Kaunas, so it was a really pleasant surprise.

The final songs included “Die for You,” during which the entire arena lit up with phone flashlights, turning into a sea of lights. Then came one of the new album highlights, “Lighthouse.” After leaving the stage, the audience didn’t stop cheering, and Calum returned for an encore with his biggest hits - “You Are the Reason” and, of course, “Dancing On My Own.” The whole arena sang along, creating a beautiful and emotional finale.

The concert was on the shorter side - about 1 hour and 30 minutes - but still featured around 20 songs, which made it feel complete.

Final Thoughts on Calum Scott Live in Kaunas

Calum Scott once again proved that you don’t need fireworks or crazy visuals to touch people’s hearts. With just his beautiful voice, emotional songs, and genuine connection with the audience, he created an unforgettable evening.

The Calum Scott concert in Kaunas 2025 was emotional, intimate, and full of heart—a night that truly showcased his talent and warmth. There are still a few weeks left of the Avenoir Tour in Europe—if you get the chance to see Calum live, don’t miss it!
