Bon Jovi Forever Tour 2026 in London

As an established millennial, I was so excited when Bon Jovi announced their tour back in October 2025. I successfully got the tickets, and almost a year later, I went to see Bon Jovi’s Forever Tour 2026 at Wembley Stadium in London. And it was everything I expected and more, so let’s start from the beginning...

A bit of background into my younger years

I think concerts just hit differently when you have years of memories and personal attachment connected to the songs. And I have quite a strong attachment to Bon Jovi songs.

For context, Bon Jovi’s music will always remind me of my student years. There’s a pub in my hometown, Kaunas, called Džem’pub, where I basically spent, no more, no less, half of my student life (it’s also where I sang that famous Kings of Leon karaoke, if you remember that story hahah). Bon Jovi songs were constantly playing there, people would sing them at karaoke, and I even remember celebrating my 20th birthday there and asking them to play ‘’It’s My Life’’.

When I turned 30, I celebrated my birthday at a karaoke bar in Hamburg, where I lived at the time (just a private room, as it was still the end of lockdown), and of course Bon Jovi songs were the main lineup.

What I wanna say is that the connection I have to these songs was built through so many years and so many different periods of my life that finally hearing them live brings a kind of euphoria that’s hard to put into words.

Maybe I wouldn’t call myself a die-hard fan, but I definitely know ball when it comes to their songs hahah. So that’s my story before we go any further.

Tickets - Bon Jovi Forever Tour 2026 in London

So as I mentioned, Bon Jovi’s Forever Tour 2026 in London was announced last October, and obviously I was trying to get those tickets. I didn’t succeed during the presale (even though I had a good spot in the queue, around 3,000, the pit was already sold out when I entered).

But then more dates were added, and during the general sale I secured two Golden Circle tickets for the 6th of September (Night 2 out of 3) for £153.25 each.

It was my fifth time at this venue and second time this year, so I was quite familiar with it, which definitely made the whole experience easier when visiting this massive stadium fitting around 90,000 people (it is the second-largest stadium in Europe). This was the first time I queued for a few hours though, but again, everything was well organised, the staff was really helpful, so as always, a pleasure to be back.

The only thing is that this time security removed the bottle caps (last time this wasn’t the case), so mental note to take off the cap beforehand and put it somewhere safe. Cause it’s very uncomfortable to keep an open water bottle in the crowd while standing. (Also thanks to my Insta friends for sharing tips on how to bring an extra/hidden cap into stadiums hahah)

Bon Jovi London Show - Night 2 Timeline

Here’s how Night 2 at Wembley Stadium unfolded:

• 3:15 PM – We arrived at the stadium

• 5:00 PM – Doors opened

• 6:00–6:45 PM – Opening act: James Bay

• 7:20 PM – Bon Jovi

• 9:55 PM – The end

Queuing, pre-show vibes and James Bay

This time my concert buddy was my friend Paulina, with whom I actually spent a lot of time at that student bar I mentioned earlier. So our plan was to be somewhere closer to the stage and arrive earlier, but as there were Early Entry tickets, meaning the first few rows would be taken in any case, we actually decided to enjoy the good London weather. So we walked around, had brunch and then eventually got back home, got ready, had lunch (food loading is very important) and headed to the stadium – it took around 1h to get to Wembley Park Station from my sister’s place.

Once we arrived, we took loads of photos, bought merch and headed to our gates, found the queue, secured our spot and settled down as we still had over an hour of waiting. Once the entry time got closer, security moved us closer to the turnstiles, and just before 5 PM we smoothly entered the venue.

Then we got in and secured our spots. We got relatively close to the stage in comparison to Wembley standards, but it wasn’t really close haha. Although it was still close enough that we could actually see the band and Jon Bon Jovi, and somehow the people in front of us were also on the shorter side, which helped with the view hahah. Anyway, we took turns going to the bathroom and refilling water while the crowds were still ‘small’ – even though it was already quite difficult to come back haha. It got quite packed quite quickly, and once we stood up, we were standing pretty tightly.

Around 6 PM James Bay came on stage and delivered a solid performance. It was my first time seeing him as well, but I got convinced to see him again if I get a chance. I knew just a few songs, but still really enjoyed the performance. Plus, he also has a very cute and grounded stage presence that I really liked.

After his performance, we had just half an hour more to wait before the legendary night was about to begin.

Note: As you can see, the whole waiting part definitely passed quite fast. Also, because it was Sunday, both performances started half an hour earlier than on the other nights, as I think the curfew on Sunday is at 10 PM instead of 10:30 PM as on regular days.

Bon Jovi in London - ‘’We Still Got It’’

So at 7:20 PM the band stepped onto the stage and, well, we were transported into more than 2.5 hours of rock classics. The opening song was a cover of ‘’With a Little Help From My Friends’’, with the opening lyrics: ‘’What would you think if I sang out of tune? Would you stand up and walk out on me?’’

Which I think was very symbolic, knowing the voice struggles and surgery Jon Bon Jovi had to undergo to be able to perform again. And from the first moments, the crowd went wild and Bon Jovi started a night that was nothing but full of energy, Jon’s charisma as a frontman, singalongs and iconic rock anthems.

By the 5th song already, we got ‘’You Give Love a Bad Name’’, and singing that intro with the whole Wembley Stadium sent shivers down my spine.

Jon Bon Jovi himself seemed to really enjoy being back on stage. He made a few speeches about how thankful he was and how he was just taking it all in. And I don’t know, but I’ve noticed that older artists have a bit of a different appreciation and happiness about being able to perform (no shade to younger artists hahah). As a fan, I really enjoy seeing an artist actually having fun on stage, and it really seemed like Jon Bon Jovi did too!

During the last song, he came down to the crowd to do a barricade walk, shaking hands, signing some records and… giving kisses on the cheeks to some fans. What lucky ladies! (I have some notes for my favourite artists hihi)

And what I also appreciated was that he gave enough time for all the singalongs, cause I’m telling you, their songs are created to be sung with at least 90k people hahah. During ‘’Livin’ on a Prayer’’ I literally thought I was going to lose my voice, screaming the lyrics at the top of my lungs, but if Bon Jovi asks you to sing, you f*cking sing!

Plus, it creates such a magical environment that, well, I just can’t describe it. You need to experience it yourself.

The setlist

And talking about having fun on stage – talk about a 2.5+ hour runtime! The setlist included 22 songs, but you know how long some of their songs are, plus add all the additional singalongs, and yea, then you get 2.5 hours of a rock show.

All the hits you can think of were included: ‘’Born to Be My Baby’’, ‘’Bed of Roses’’, ‘’Have a Nice Day’’, ‘’It’s My Life’’, ‘’Livin’ on a Prayer’’, ‘’Bad Medicine’’, ‘’Always’’ – and I still didn’t mention them all.

I missed ‘’In These Arms’’ on the setlist, but yea, to include every hit they would probably need a 3-hour show hahah. Some of the newer songs also blended in nicely, and ‘’Legendary’’ from their newest 2024 album Forever, which Jon performed together with James Bay, is actually a very good record, so give it a listen.

Jon Bon Jovi - the voice

Now let’s address the elephant in the room – Jon Bon Jovi’s voice, which gets a lot of critique from internet ‘’experts’’. Well, first of all, he underwent major vocal cord surgery in June 2022 to repair an atrophied vocal cord, so I think we can be happy that he actually recovered enough to even be able to sing again.

And yes, his voice doesn’t sound the same as when he was younger, but it sounded good enough for 90k people to show up and enjoy the show. So yea, I knew the situation, managed my expectations and, to be honest, wasn’t bothered at all. And the crowd carried their part too, so yea, not an issue.

Now, I keep mentioning the crowd a lot, but it deserves to be mentioned a lot! The energy was insane, literally going through the roof (well, there is no roof at Wembley, but you get it). This is the beauty of an English crowd – they know ball (Bon Jovi’s words, not mine). Singing every word of every song, but especially the hits – just WOW. You couldn’t even hear the band sometimes because of how loud everyone was (gosh, I still get goosebumps remembering it). Plus, it’s the most band-merch-wearing crowd I’ve ever seen.

And apart from this, I also want to mention that the people around us were really friendly and polite, which is not always the case, especially at an event of this scale. Yes, we were standing tightly at the beginning, but no one was pushing or shoving their way to the front (maybe because there was no space to squeeze to the front hahah).

We also had one woman next to us who almost passed out, and people were quick to start waving to security. James Bay even stopped his show, and security came to help her. So yea, everyone was really looking out for each other.

Then once the show started, somehow we actually had more space around us, so we could move a bit more, dance and just have a great time.

Post-concert

So once the concert ended, we didn’t rush to leave. We took some pictures, trying to ‘’take it all in’’, as Bon Jovi said, but eventually headed out to face the famous Wembley post-concert queues.

And to be honest, it wasn’t as bad as I remembered it. We reached Wembley Park Station within 30 minutes and got onto a relatively empty train – well, there wasn’t enough space to sit, but I’ve been on so many post-concert trains where you can hardly even fit in, so I appreciated the fact that we had some space.

And once we changed the tube, we finally got to sit after like six hours. Then one more bus ride later, we were home, so the whole trip from leaving the stadium to getting home took around 1.5 hours (including the waiting).

And of course, there’s no better way to finish the night than with some junk food and rewatching your concert videos.

Final thoughts

So during the last night at Wembley Stadium (and the last night of the tour), Jon confirmed that the band will keep touring in 2027! Which means I will definitely try to go see them live again, cause this concert is highly addictive.

Those old rock bands once again prove why they are iconic and living legends. The setlist, the 2.5+ hour show, the energy, the actual excitement to be on stage – it’s something that also transmits to the audience. I also got a lot of messages from fans sharing their memories about the band, which just proves what a deep and lasting impression Bon Jovi has left on so many people.

And for me, I would love to tell my younger self, singing these songs at a small Kaunas bar: don’t worry, one day you will see the band live, and nowhere else but at Wembley Stadium. What a life appreciation moment right there.
