When Ariana Grande announced The Eternal Sunshine Tour for 2026, including 10 nights at the O2 Arena in London, the world went just a little bit crazy. And rightfully so - she was finally returning to touring after a seven-year break.
So I got a mission from my sister, who is a huge Ariana fan: get us seated tickets. I somehow won the ticket war last September, and on August 24th, we finally got to see Ariana Grande live for the very first time - and we couldn’t have loved it more! What an experience it was. So, if you’re wondering what Ariana Grande in London in 2026 was really like, let’s not waste any more time and dive into the magical world of her Eternal Sunshine Tour.
Tickets - Ariana Grande The Eternal Sunshine Tour 2026 in London
I managed to get two seated tickets during the presale (Section 416, Row B, Seats 818–819) for £119.20 each for August 24th (Night 6). We had a really nice overall view of the stage, catwalk and screens. The speakers blocked a tiny corner of one of the screens, but nothing that disturbed the experience. And honestly, it didn’t feel THAT far away, as we were in the second row of Level 4. So overall, I’d say the price was a pretty fair deal for the view we had.
The demand for this tour was incredibly high, so getting tickets was a pretty stressful experience. Luckily, I managed to grab ours when the extra dates dropped - I joined the ticket queue immediately and somehow succeeded! And well, knowing how high the demand was and that these were Ariana’s only shows in Europe, I definitely feel like one of the lucky ones.
The Venue - The O2 Arena
The show took place at London’s iconic O2 Arena, a venue that hosts many of the world’s biggest artists. It was my fourth time there, so I already knew what to expect. Everything is very well organized, although getting back after the show can take some time with thousands of people leaving the arena at once.
This time, however, it was surprisingly quick for us! We took a little “shortcut” to enter the station and chose a different route back to my sister’s place, which meant taking the Underground in the opposite direction from most of the crowd. So, no queues and even empty seats - definitely not the usual post-O2 experience!

Ariana Grande London Show - Night 6 Timeline
Here’s how Night 6 at The O2 Arena unfolded:
6:30 PM – Doors opened
6:45 PM – We arrived at the arena
8:00 PM – Ariana Grande took the stage
9:50 PM – Show ended
Pre-Show
As I mentioned earlier, my sister specifically wanted seated tickets, and who am I to say no? This meant that, very differently from my usual concert days, I had a pretty chill pre-show experience. I even managed to head into the city center in the morning, do a little shopping, have lunch with my sister, and then go back home with plenty of time to get ready.
The goal was a cat-eye eyeliner and a ponytail - you know, the signature Ariana look. And as I’m not particularly good at either of those things (let’s just say hair and makeup are not my strongest skills), I needed a calm few hours to focus on this. And I made it! It wasn’t perfect, but it was good enough to leave the house hahaha.
I jumped into the full outfit - a €4 Vinted dress (as always, we love a sustainable choice) and my own over-the-knee heeled boots. I will take every possible occasion to wear those boots, which unfortunately doesn’t happen too often because they are definitely not made for walking (it’s not even because of the heel, the sole is just too thin - sorry for being a heels nerd).

Anyway, after a very humble walk to the Underground station in that outfit, I met my sister, who had gotten ready at the office - an even more humbling experience lol. We then made our way to The O2, although we couldn’t fit into two trains in a row because they were completely packed during rush hour. Classic London.
Once we finally arrived, we took loaaaads of photos, enjoyed the pre-show atmosphere, and eventually made our way to our seats. It was finally time to see what The Eternal Sunshine Tour was all about.
Disclaimer: before I go into my deep praise of Ariana’s performance and the whole production, I want to briefly acknowledge the conversation surrounding this tour. There has been a lot of speculation, and I would be lying if I said I didn’t have my own moments of concern too. However, I’m not a doctor and I don’t know Ariana personally, so I don’t think it’s my place to comment on such a sensitive topic.
Ariana Grande in London: Welcome to the Eternal Sunshine World
This might genuinely be one of the most detail-oriented shows I’ve ever seen. Around 15 minutes before the start, a countdown appears on the circular screen while Ariana and her dancers are projected onto the curtains covering the main stage. The pre-show playlist is really vibey and immediately sets the mood, before a mashup of Madonna’s “4 Minutes” and “Vogue” plays through the arena just before the show begins.
Once the timer hits 00:00, the show opens with a cinematic visual interlude. We see Ariana brushing her teeth as her house begins to flood with water, before she has a vision of Peaches (the character from the “we can’t be friends (wait for your love)” music video) undergoing the memory-erasing procedure using the Brighter Days machine. And then Ariana enters the stage with yes, and?
From there, it quickly becomes clear that this isn’t just a collection of songs. The whole concert is built around a story, divided into five acts that take us through a journey of pain, healing and ultimately accepting the past. Themes of public and media scrutiny, being watched, judged and criticized also run throughout the show. So this isn’t your regular pop concert - you enter the Eternal Sunshine world from the very first moments and stay there until the credits roll.
The Story Behind The Eternal Sunshine Tour (Spoiler Alert)
The story begins with the idea that erasing painful memories and deleting difficult chapters could offer freedom. But as the show progresses, her perspective starts to change. The initially darker world eventually transforms into a bright, flowery garden, where Ariana meets her younger self and begins to understand that those memories and experiences - both good and painful - are part of who she is.
One of my favorite parts comes when Ariana walks through a hallway of memory-deletion rooms referencing different chapters of her past: Yours Truly, One Love Manchester, and Sweetener. Eventually, they reach an empty room waiting for present-day Ariana - but her younger self closes the door.
By the final act, the memories are still being erased, but Ariana decides she no longer wants to lose them. She destroys the machine and chooses instead to keep and accept all the different parts of her life - the pain, the love and the memories.
The Performance
Now moving on to the performance itself - well, it was great. No notes from a self-proclaimed concert expert haha. First of all, HER VOICE is out of this world. Ariana is easily one of the most powerful vocalists out there right now, and hearing those vocals live is a completely different experience. At the same time, some of the newer songs, like imperfect for you and hate that i made you love me, were performed in such a soft and emotional way that they almost soothed your soul.
And it wasn’t just about the vocals. There were plenty of dance breaks - also happening flawlessly in those crazy heels - with incredible dancers, beautiful outfits and choreography that perfectly matched the vibe of each part of the show. Together with the storytelling, you still had all those big pop concert moments that constantly kept you hooked.
I think the best proof of that is that I felt like I wanted to record EVERYTHING. And yes, I obviously record quite a lot at concerts anyway, although I usually try to stick to a chorus and maybe a few extra moments if it’s one of my favorite songs - so let’s call me a moderate recorder haha. But here, every song, every dance break and every little moment was done at such a high level that I constantly wanted to capture it. Everything just felt so thought through, down to the smallest detail.
The Visuals and the Stage
At this point, I think I’ve probably convinced you that the visuals were a huge part of the experience. First of all, the cinematic interludes between the acts genuinely felt like watching a movie.
The stage itself was relatively simple in its layout - a main stage, a really long catwalk and a B-stage at the end. The main stage featured the remains of a burned house, tying everything back to the Eternal Sunshine story. Huge screens could then cover the house and completely transform the stage into different settings as the story progressed.
Honestly, some of the best visuals I’ve ever seen - Lady Gaga is up there too, of course. My creative pop girlies know what they’re doing haha. And having the show in an indoor arena definitely helps you experience a production like this exactly as intended.
And this is where I have to thank my sister for insisting on those seats after all. As much as I usually love being close to the stage, our seats gave us an amazing overview of the entire setup. We could see the stage, screens and catwalk working together as one huge visual production, which made it so easy to get completely immersed in the Eternal Sunshine world. Of course, if I could go again, I’d love to try a standing spot too, because it gives you more of that connection with the artist, but I’ll definitely treasure the experience we had.
By the way, one of my favorite moments might have been eternal sunshine. The combination of the stage and visuals created this incredibly cosmic, magical atmosphere that was just beautiful to experience.
The Night 6 Setlist
The setlist consisted of 25 songs across around 1 hour and 50 minutes, focusing mostly on the Eternal Sunshine album while mixing in some of Ariana’s biggest hits from over the years.
The setlist has been pretty established throughout the tour, with a few surprise songs here and there, as well as songs from Ariana’s newest record, Petal. During Night 6, we got hate that i made you love me and like i do from Petal.
Obviously, with such an extensive discography and so many hits, I did miss a few songs like break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored, no tears left to cry and God is a woman, just to mention a few. But I guess fitting all the hits from over the years alongside the newer songs would require a three-hour concert - which does happen from time to time, but let’s say it’s not common practice (yet haha).

Memories Last Forever ♡ ∞
As I mentioned, I went into this concert as more of a casual fan. Obviously, I’m quite familiar with Ariana’s music, especially her older songs, and I’ve followed her career and story over the years. So I fully expected this to be a great show because, well, pop girlies know how to deliver. But damn, I didn’t expect to love it THIS much. I felt completely absorbed by the music, the story and Ariana’s presence from start to finish.
I have to admit, I didn’t immediately connect with some of her newer music, but hearing those songs live was a completely different experience. Maybe it was the raw but powerful vocals, maybe the storytelling and visuals, or probably the combination of everything - but I genuinely feel like I hear some of those songs differently now, if you know what I mean.
And then there were the hits. Hearing thank u, next, 7 rings, One Last Time, Break Free, Dangerous Woman and so many more live is something I honestly can’t put into words. It’s something I wish more of her fans and listeners could experience. The whole arena singing One Last Time together, for example, created a feeling and emotion that will stay with me forever - and I’m not even exaggerating.
Talking about the crowd, it was definitely a good one. Everyone around us stood up from the moment the countdown ended and seemed to be having the best time - singing, dancing and being VERY loud. Well... also loud during the mute challenge, but I guess at this point London simply doesn’t sit in silence haha (note: the mute moment happens during we can’t be friends (wait for your love), when the entire arena is supposed to go completely quiet after Ariana sings, “Me and my truth, we sit in silence.”)
Ariana herself seemed really emotional that night, and even from our seats quite far away from the stage, you could feel that emotion throughout the arena. During Hampstead, she actually had to stop for a moment when she started crying, and watching that - even through the screens from where we were sitting - made the moment incredibly emotional for everyone too. She didn’t give many long speeches throughout the night, but mentioned that with only four London shows - and four shows of the entire tour - left, everything was becoming very emotional. She even joked that if she talked too much, she would start crying, so it was better to just keep going.
Final Thoughts
I guess I could write more and more about this concert because there were just so many different aspects to it, but I hope I managed to cover at least a little bit of everything. Also, I don’t know if everyone who went to see her would agree, but for us it literally felt like a five-minute concert. Maybe it’s the effect of the whole immersive experience and constantly having something to watch, hear and take in - I don’t know what this phenomenon is haha.
But I’m eternally thankful that I got to see and experience this tour myself. This was my first time seeing Ariana live, and it exceeded every expectation I had. It was incredible from start to finish. I’ve heard people say that this might be Ariana’s best tour so far, and honestly, I can see why. I don’t know what I would have changed... well, maybe I would have made it even longer, because it’s never enough haha.
And to Ariana - we all know at this point that she’s planning to take a break from the public eye after the tour. I can only hope that, just like the story she tells us throughout the show, she finds her happiness and continues doing whatever makes her happy. And maybe one day she’ll spoil us with more music and more concerts too.
