My Concert Planner – Why I Created It and Why You Need It

Who’s better to talk about My Concert Planner than me, right? I wanted to share a bit about why and how I created it - not just to “promote” it, but to give you a behind-the-scenes look and show why it’s actually helpful for concert life.
The Story Behind the Idea
As someone who goes to a lot of concerts, keeping track of everything can get crazy - especially during summer when gigs are happening non-stop. Add traveling into the mix, and suddenly you’re juggling tickets, accommodation, flights, set times, and budgets.
This year got even more chaotic than usual. Most of the concerts I booked were while I was still living in Germany, and then I moved to Lithuania - which meant my travel distances (and costs) suddenly doubled.
To stay organized, I used pretty much everything:
Notion for budgeting and logistics (old habits from my product manager days)
Google Calendar for an overall view
A wall calendar to see how packed my concert year looks at a glance

But honestly, having everything in different places wasn’t ideal. I kept thinking - why can’t there be one place for all things concert-related? That’s how the idea of creating my own concert planner notebook started forming.

From Idea to Reality
I actually got the idea more than a year ago, but I kept postponing it. I thought it would be too complicated - I’d need my own store, design skills, a printing house, and a big upfront investment. And what if no one buys it?
So it stayed a “maybe someday” idea. Until life gave me a little push (I got laid off - which turned out to be a good thing, more on that another time) and suddenly I had the time and motivation to start something of my own.
I first launched some small digital concert products, but I wanted something more tangible. Something concert fans could actually hold in their hands while planning their next show. Then I came across some videos about making notebooks at home, and that was it - I decided to give it a real try.
Creating the Notebook
I designed everything myself in Canva, based on what I actually need when planning concerts. Using a pre-existing template as a starting point, I redesigned every page to match my own concert-tracking habits - from ticket details to travel planning and budgeting. I’m not a professional designer, so it took a lot of trial and error, but slowly it started to take shape.
When I finally liked the design, I decided to produce it myself - literally at home. I bought a paper cutter, laminator, and binding machine, and learned how to print double-sided correctly (it took way too many tries). Then came notebook binding - a story all on its own. But when I held the first finished notebook in my hands, it was such a cool moment - something that started as an idea on my laptop was now a real, physical product.
What’s Inside My Concert Planner
It’s a small A5-sized notebook, easy to take on the go, with pages for 20 concerts in total.
Each concert section has:
2 planning pages - for all the pre-concert details like tickets, budget, accommodation, and outfit ideas
2 memory pages - to document your favorite moments, highlight songs, and a blank “Memories” page for photos, confetti, or your physical concert ticket - perfect for scrapbooking

There’s also a yearly tracker to see your full concert schedule at a glance, a space for your Top 5 Concert Moments, and a few extra pages for notes and to-do lists (perfect for keeping track of those chaotic presale dates). Basically, it combines everything I used to track separately - Notion, calendar, notes, random reminders - into one fun and practical notebook. You can check it out here

Why I Love It (and Think You Might Too)
If you go to multiple concerts, especially in different cities or countries, or if you love collecting your concert memories, this planner makes it so much easier. You can organize trips, track expenses, and capture all those little moments that make each concert special.
For me, it’s become part of the experience - planning, attending, and then documenting afterward. It’s handmade, practical, and designed by a fan for fans.
Also, it’s a perfect gift idea for your concert-loving friends!
Limited Edition & Handmade in Lithuania
I’m very proud to say that each planner is printed, cut, laminated, and bound by hand in my small home studio in Lithuania. That means stock is limited, and every copy has its own unique character.
