O2 Arena in London is definitely one of the most popular venues in Europe - almost no artist skips it when on tour. I’ve been to the O2 twice and had a great time both times. In this O2 Arena London concert guide 2025, I’m sharing my top tips to help you have an amazing concert experience at this venue.

Quick Navigation – O2 Arena London Concert Guide 2025

About the O2 Arena and What’s Around It

The O2 Arena is located within the larger O2 entertainment complex in North Greenwich. It’s not just a concert venue - it’s a full-on destination featuring a wide range of restaurants, bars, outlet shopping, and leisure activities like bowling, interactive football, indoor trampolining, mini golf, and even a cinema. Whether you want to grab a bite before the show or hang out afterward, there’s plenty to do around the arena.

How to Get to the O2 Arena

The most popular and easiest way to get to the O2 Arena is by taking the Jubilee Line to North Greenwich underground station. The arena is just a few minutes’ walk from there, and the path is clearly marked with signs.

Alternatively, you can travel to the O2 by boat with Uber Boat by Thames Clippers. Services run every 20 minutes from early morning until late evening, and it’s a scenic and relaxing way to arrive.

How to Get Back from the O2 Arena

Getting back is usually straightforward, as London’s transport continues running late into the evening. Of course, you can always double-check night tube options in advance on the TFL site.

Expect queues after the concert, as nearly 20,000 people leave the venue at the same time. It can take up to 45 minutes to reach the station, but everything is well-organized and managed with safety in mind.

Pro tip: You can avoid the queues by taking the boat back. Uber Boat departs from QEII Pier starting 15 minutes after the event ends. If it’s heading in your direction, it’s a great option!

Food & Drinks at the O2 Arena

The O2 and the surrounding complex have over 30 bars and restaurants, offering a wide variety of food and drink options - so you’ll definitely find something to suit your taste. Be aware that prices inside the arena are on the higher side - expect to pay around £9 for a pint of beer.

You’re allowed to bring refillable water bottles, but they must be empty when entering the venue, as there are free water refill stations inside.

Payments at the O2 Arena

The O2 Arena is 100% cashless. Only card and contactless payments are accepted, so there’s no need to bring cash.

What to Pack for the O2 Arena - Bag Policy 2025

The O2's bag policy for 2025 is fairly standard: bags must be A4 size or smaller (approx. 21 x 30 cm).

Some of the essential items to bring - phone, ID, power bank, Hand sanitizer or wet wipes, empty water bottle.

Important tip: Always double-check the official bag policy before your visit. All bags are thoroughly inspected on entry. You can find the detailed O2 bag policy here: O2 Arena Bag & Security Policy

Concert Ticket Tips for the O2 Arena

The O2 works closely with its official ticket partner AXS (pronounced “access”). AXS often has the best seat availability for shows at the O2 - more than other providers.

How to Get Great Tickets for The O2 Shows?

You can easily purchase tickets for The O2 shows by visiting the official AXS site here. To save time when buying tickets, be sure to register for an AXS account in advance.

What if the show is sold out?

Don’t worry. Keep checking the event page on AXS for resale tickets from other fans. AXS Official Resale allows people to sell their tickets at a fair price (up to 10% above face value). You’re guaranteed authentic tickets - and no scams.

What Breathtaking Activity Can You Do at the O2 Arena?

The O2 is famous for hosting some of the biggest artists, but did you know about Up at The O2? It’s a super cool experience where you can climb the world-famous roof of the arena. You get to take an exciting outdoor climb and enjoy amazing views of London. You can pick from Daytime, Sunset, or Twilight climbs and see a different side of the city - from historic Greenwich to The Olympic Park and Canary Wharf.
