Lenny Kravitz LIVE 2026 in Kaunas

On 18 July, the living legend himself, Lenny Kravitz, played a concert in Kaunas, my hometown, as part of his Live 2026 Tour. Obviously, I had to be there, and damn, what a night! I got barricade, got noticed by Lenny, caught a guitar pick, and even got a handshake. But let's start from the beginning.

Tickets were still available even a few weeks before the concert, so I was able to easily buy a standing ticket for €76.

The Venue - Žalgiris Arena

Žalgiris Arena is the biggest indoor arena not only in Lithuania but also in all the Baltic states - and it just happens to be my hometown venue! I've been there countless times since it opened in 2011, both for concerts and for my second favorite reason: basketball.

It's a modern arena with good infrastructure and a central location. I can literally walk there in about 10 minutes, which is super convenient. For me, going to concerts there honestly feels like going to my second home.

How I got barricade

One thing worth mentioning is that there isn't really a queuing culture in Lithuania (I hope it stays this way forever haha), which means there usually isn't much queue organization either. That's how, even though I arrived at 6:15 pm, just 15 minutes before the doors opened, I still managed to get barricade. Sometimes you need to work smarter, not harder haha (or just know the more convenient entrance in this case).

I explained exactly how I managed to get barricade in my Black Eyed Peas Kaunas review, as the strategy was very similar. The only difference this time was the VIP Early Entry tickets, so I honestly didn't have much hope of getting the barricade. But because I was one of the first people with a GA standing ticket to enter, I still managed to grab a spot slightly to the side - and it turned out to be absolutely perfect.

Pre-show vibes

One really interesting experience was actually hearing the soundcheck! At Žalgiris Arena, they often let people inside the building before opening access to the pit and seating sections. While I was waiting by the pit doors, I could hear the soundcheck so clearly - including Lenny's little comments about the sound and small adjustments. That was honestly really cool.

By the way, this was supposed to be my first-ever solo concert in Lithuania haha, but eventually I was joined by my Instagram friend Vėja, a young concert lover. We also met another concert enthusiast while waiting, so the time flew by. It's amazing how quickly you can connect with people when you're all united by the same concert obsession.

Over the past few weeks I've met so many wonderful people at concerts, especially while traveling alone, and it's honestly become one of my favorite parts of this hobby. So once again, a huge shout-out to everyone I've met recently - you've become one of the highlights of my concert life.

The opener DE'WAYNE

The opener this time was DE'WAYNE, an alternative rock singer from Houston, Texas, and he did an amazing job warming up the crowd. His music perfectly matched the vibe of the evening while still having its own identity, although you could definitely hear Lenny Kravitz's influence in some songs. His incredible stage presence grabbed everyone's attention from the very beginning, making the whole performance really enjoyable. By the end of his set, the crowd was already fully warmed up for the main show.

Just after 9 pm, only a few minutes later than planned, Lenny Kravitz entered the stage and kicked off an incredible night filled with amazing music. He simply walked on stage with confidence, smiled, danced, played guitar, and still managed to completely captivate the crowd. That's the kind of stage presence you can't really learn - it comes from decades of performing.

It was one of those concerts where I went from being a casual listener who enjoyed his music from time to time to becoming a complete fangirl who somehow fell in love with a rock star (once again haha). But honestly, say what you want - he's a true rock star, an icon, and an incredible performer who's full of charisma while somehow still managing to seem genuinely warm and down to earth.

Starting the night with ''Bring It On'' and ''Dig In'', the energy was high from the very beginning. The stage presence, the moves, the voice, the iconic songs - it all pulls you straight into Lenny's world.

And we also need to remember that the man is 62 years old, yet he's probably in better shape than most people half his age. The energy never dropped throughout the entire night, his voice still sounds fantastic, and it was amazing to witness such a legend performing in real time.

I also have to give a shout-out to the phenomenal band. Every musician was incredibly talented, with amazing guitar riffs and the saxophone and trumpet adding so much character to the songs.

Lenny also seemed genuinely impressed by the Lithuanian crowd, which was quite loud... Well, maybe not so much when it came to singing, as singing in English has never been Lithuania's strongest skill. But at least the lack of knowing even the basic lyrics was compensated by being loud and supportive. Although learning the three words that also make up the title ''Let Love Rule'' would have been nice - that's why I always tell people to check the setlist before a concert!

Throughout the evening, Lenny made several beautiful speeches about Lithuania. He said he'd love to come back just to hang out and relax here, asked where the afterparty was (at my place, Lenny, where are you?), and mentioned that he could really feel our energy. Sure, artists probably say something similar in many cities, but it's always nice when they take the time to interact with the audience.

The setlist - the perfect mix of something new and something old

The concert lasted just over two hours, which is honestly longer than many concerts these days (yes, Harry, I'm looking at you - take some notes from your future father-in-law haha).

The setlist featured newer songs like ''Honey'' and ''TK421'', alongside classics such as ''Stillness of Heart'', ''It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over'', ''Fly Away'', and ''Are You Gonna Go My Way''. There was also a slower section dedicated to several beautiful ballads before the show built back up to all the biggest hits, ending with the encore ''Let Love Rule'', which was the perfect way to finish the evening.

Audience interaction and my special moments

When it comes to audience interaction, Lenny absolutely won. He was incredibly attentive and genuinely tried to give as much attention to the crowd as possible - and I was lucky enough to be one of those people.

During the first few songs, I'm convinced he noticed me. Towards the end of ''Dig In'' (I think), he looked my way again and threw his guitar pick directly at me! It landed on the floor, but thankfully my friend quickly picked it up, and it was soon safely in my hands. Honestly, I spent the rest of the concert slightly stressed that I might somehow lose it haha.

Then there were quite a few moments where it really felt like he kept looking my way (damn those sunglasses haha), especially towards the end of ''Honey'' (I think), when he looked at me and even blew me a kiss. I didn't record that moment, so unfortunately I can't investigate the evidence afterwards (if anyone recorded that moment, let me know haha), but my friend immediately looked at me like, "Yep... that one was definitely for you." So believe what you want, but I'm choosing to believe that Lenny also fell in love with me haha.

Then came the final song, ''Let Love Rule'', when Lenny walked through the audience, shaking hands, signing records, posters, and whatever people happened to have with them. He really took his time with the fans, and I was lucky enough to get a proper, strong handshake too.

Do I regret not bringing something for him to sign? Absolutely (to be fair, I really thought I wouldn't make it to the first row because of the VIP Early Entry tickets).

Even though I already walked away with the full package of interactions, as every fangirl knows... it's never enough.

Final thoughts

So what can I say? Lenny Kravitz, welcome to the ever-growing list of celebrities I'm in love with haha. Of course, I expected an amazing performance because, well... it's Lenny Kravitz we're talking about. But seeing him live somehow makes you understand why he's still such a legendary performer after all these years. His charisma, stage presence, musicianship, and energy are incredibly difficult to describe unless you've experienced them yourself.

This concert was also another reminder that sometimes it's absolutely worth going to see an artist even if you're "just" a casual fan. You don't need to know every single song to have the time of your life.

And yes... did I immediately check the rest of the tour dates afterwards? Of course I did. Right now my concert schedule is already completely packed, so traveling for another show probably isn't realistic.

But the need to see him again is definitely there, so hopefully he comes back to Europe soon - and next time I'll have to plan at least a few dates.

However, there are still quite a few dates left on the Live 2026 Tour across Europe, and tickets are still available for some of them. So I really can't recommend seeing him live enough.
