On June 16th, 2025, I finally got to see Queen B live for the very first time! This was the final Cowboy Carter concert in London during Beyoncé’s six-night run at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It was my ultimate bucket list concert - and I still can’t believe it took me this long. But I finally saw Beyoncé live, so keep reading to find out how it went!

Tickets to Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour 2025 in London

I bought two seated tickets for Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour in London in Section 451, Row 52, Seats 189-190, at £193.00 each. The tickets were definitely on the pricier side, but I was determined to see her live this time - no matter what.

The Venue – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter six-night run took place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London. It’s a relatively new venue that opened in 2019. I actually have a full blog post dedicated to this stadium right here, with useful tips if you’re planning to visit.

One thing we discovered this time was a faster way to get back after the show. We left right after the last song and walked to Tottenham Hale station instead of Seven Sisters (it was about a 20–25 minute walk). The crowd was still small and moving steadily, so we easily got into the tube - which was still empty! By the time we passed Seven Sisters, it was already getting super crowded.

Concert Day Timeline

Here’s how the evening went:

  • 5:00 PM – Doors opened

  • 6:00 PM – We arrived at the venue

  • 7:45 PM – Beyoncé took the stage

  • 10:25 PM – Show ended

Getting There & Pre-Show Vibes

Since my mom and I had seated tickets, we took it easy during the day - roamed around London, had a nice meal, got ready, and headed to the stadium around 5 PM. We took the tube to Seven Sisters and walked from there since the weather was lovely (though a bus would’ve been faster).

Once we arrived, we were fully immersed in the Cowboy Carter mood. Fans really took their outfits to the next level! There was music everywhere, amazing vibes, Beyoncé posters (with long queues to take photos with them), and just a general feeling of excitement. You instantly forgot about the outside world.

We stopped by the merch store, which was huge - half of the football shop was turned into Beyonceland! There was a big selection of merch, but prices were steep. A simple T-shirt was £50, and the ones I liked were £70, so I skipped it this time.

Eventually, we grabbed our Cowboy Carter wristbands (after the show they ask you to return the LED light piece, but you can keep the wristband itself once it’s separated), got some drinks, and found our seats. We were up on Level 4 - quite high - but directly in front of the stage, so we had a fantastic overall view. We sat, took a lot of photos, people-watched, admired everyone’s outfits, and waited patiently for Beyoncé to take the stage.

Queen B in the House

Around 7:45 PM, the moment finally arrived - Beyoncé stepped onto the stage, and the crowd went wild! She opened with “AMERIICAN REQUIEM,” followed by “Blackbird” (originally written by Paul McCartney and recorded by The Beatles). For this final night, she started the show wearing a custom outfit inspired by the song’s title, designed by Stella McCartney - Paul’s daughter.

Then the energy exploded as she performed “Freedom”, followed by “YA YA / Why Don't You Love Me”.

I have to admit, my favorite part was Act V, which included “TEXAS HOLD 'EM” and then some of the all-time classics like “Crazy in Love,” “Single Ladies,” “Love on Top,” “Irreplaceable,” and even “If I Were a Boy.” When the entire stadium was singing along, it was such an emotional moment. Beyoncé herself looked moved and said, “I don’t want to go home.”

What to Expect at the Cowboy Carter Tour

There were countless outfit changes, including a custom LED dress by Anrealage that projected digital images. Beyoncé was surrounded by an incredible crew of dancers and a live band. She was also joined on stage by her daughter Blue Ivy for several dance routines, and her younger daughter Rumi made an appearance during the song “PROTECTOR.”

There was a burning piano, dozens of choreographed routines, Beyoncé riding a golden mechanical bull, standing on a golden horse statue, a robot pouring her a drink, Beyoncé flying through the stadium while sitting on a horseshoe, and later singing one of the final songs, “16 CARRIAGES,” while flying across the stadium seated in a car - just to name a few. It was a 2.5-hour spectacle featuring 39 songs in total (though quite a few were shortened versions).

Production & Stage Setup

The stage design and production were next-level. The massive, star-shaped stage had a long runway and a giant screen with a pyramidal void in the center. There were fireworks, smoke, fire machines, and stunning lighting. Unfortunately, because of the long European summer daylight, half of the concert happened in daylight - which didn’t fully do justice to the visuals.

One downside: in our section, the sound quality wasn’t great, especially in the beginning. The vocals felt lost in the mix, and it was hard to understand Beyoncé when she spoke. This could be due to the venue or our section. (Last year, I was in the standing area for Pink at the same stadium, and the sound was fine.)

What to Wear to a Cowboy Carter Tour?

I aimed for a balance between comfort and cowboy. Since I traveled to London just for a few days and had limited space for packing, I went with denim shorts and a white crop top - a simple yet iconic Beyoncé look. I elevated it with my sparkly teenage belt with a big buckle and found a cowboy-style jacket secondhand online.

Compared to the hardcore fans, I was definitely on the simpler side - the fashion creativity was off the charts! I’d say about 80% of fans wore cowboy hats and boots, which looked amazing… until I saw people walking barefoot after the show or putting their bare feet on the seats (basic etiquette alert!). So yeah, cowboy boots might not be the best choice for hot summer weather and lots of walking. As a longtime Germany resident, I went with my trusty sneakers - and didn’t regret it!

It’s your call: go full glam or prioritize comfort. I tried to land somewhere in the middle.

Final Thoughts

This was my bucket list concert, and it exceeded all expectations! To be honest, I was the biggest Beyoncé fan between 2010-2018. After OTR II, I stopped following her career closely. My personal favorite tour was the I Am… World Tour - I watched it countless times, just to give you a sense of my connection to her music. So while I was obviously excited to finally see Queen B live, I knew the setlist wouldn’t include many songs from my “fandom peak.” But I still loved the show, appreciated the stunning production, and was so happy to hear some of the older hits included.

I truly believe every concert enthusiast should see Beyoncé live at least once - she knows how to put on a show like no other. Seeing the Cowboy Carter Tour in London was an unforgettable experience, and the best part? You’ll probably get a chance - it’s been hinted that there’s one more Act III album coming (some merch showed “2/3” on the design), and Beyoncé herself wrote on Instagram after the last London show, “Holla at ‘ya when I come on tour again!”
